// THE PROADSY ENGINE

Born from 3,000,000 data points per vehicle.

Every Proadsy product begins with a 3D laser scan of the exact year, make, and model. Windshield curvature, sensor housings, mirror mounts, body lines — captured before a single panel is cut.

// THE PROCESS

From a laser scan to your driveway.

Four stages — every vehicle, every SKU, no exceptions. Generic templates and "universal" sizing get skipped here.

STEP 01 Sunshade installed in vehicle — outcome of the 3D scan

3D Laser Scan

A handheld scanner captures the windshield contour, frame curvature, sensor cluster, and mirror base in a single pass. Output: a millimeter-accurate point cloud of your specific year/make/model.

STEP 02

CAD Verification

The point cloud becomes a digital twin. Camera, rain sensor, HUD, and antenna positions are mapped as exclusion zones — so the cut pattern routes around them, not through them.

STEP 03 Folded sunshade — outcome of the custom cut and frame bonding

Custom Cut & Stitch

CNC-cut against the digital twin: 4-layer reflective composite for sunshades, 5-layer breathable composite for car covers. Spring-steel frame is bonded so the shade self-tensions to your windshield curve.

STEP 04

QA Mapping

Every batch is fold-tested for 1,000 cycles. Random samples are installed on the actual production vehicle and photographed against the CAD reference before shipping.

// MATERIAL SCIENCE

Four layers. One degree at a time.

Sunshades aren't fabric — they're a stacked thermal system. Each layer has one job. Together they drop a Phoenix-summer cabin from oven-hot to liveable in under twenty minutes.

L1

Reflective Aluminum Surface

High-purity aluminum coating reflects up to 99% of incident solar radiation before it enters the cabin.

L2

Closed-Cell Insulation Core

Traps remaining heat at the surface, preventing conduction through the material into the dashboard.

L3

Structural PE Foam

Rigid backbone keeps the shade dimensionally stable so the frame self-tensions against your windshield curve.

L4

Soft Contact Backing

Non-abrasive felt protects the windshield glass and dashboard finish — engineered for daily install/uninstall.

Car covers run a 5-layer composite: UV-reflective outer shell · waterproof breathable membrane · breathable core · dust barrier · ultra-soft fleece lining. Every cover ships with windproof straps and reflective night marking.
// REAL CONDITIONS

Tested where the cheap stuff melts.

Death Valley in August. Pacific Northwest rain seasons. Colorado snowpack. The shade and the cover both have to keep working — not in a lab, in a parking lot.

157°F 98°F

Cabin temperature, dashboard probe, identical vehicle, identical sun exposure. Same windshield, two outcomes: uncovered vs. Proadsy custom-fit shade. Drop after 20 minutes parked.

Sunshade in Phoenix asphalt heat

Spring-steel frame holds tension on 121°F asphalt heat soak. Pops open, settles into the windshield curve, no roll-back.

Car cover in heavy rain
// PNW · RAIN

Cover through 8-week wet season

Waterproof membrane sheds rain; breathable core releases vapor — paint dries between storms instead of trapping mildew underneath.

Pulling snow off car cover in winter
// COLORADO · SNOW

Snow-load pull at -10°F

Cover lifts off with the snowpack. Fleece inner stays scratch-free against the paint. No ice scraper, no morning de-icing.

Pollen, sap, and tree drop

30-day street park: pollen, tree sap, bird droppings end up on the cover, not the paint. Cover hoses off; the car underneath is showroom-clean.
