No. The inner liner is a soft non-woven fleece that rests on the paint without abrading it. What scratches paint is trapped grit — install the cover on a reasonably clean, dry car and the liner stays harmless. Our covers are patterned per vehicle so the fabric sits taut instead of flapping and rubbing.

Elastic front and rear hems hug the bumpers, and adjustable windproof straps tie down at each wheel so gusts can't lift the cover or turn it into a sail. Owners in storm-prone areas report the cover staying put through full thunderstorms.

The outer shell is waterproof, and the layered fabric is breathable — condensation and heat vent out instead of being sealed against the paint. That breathability is what separates an all-weather cover from a plastic tarp.

About a minute once you've done it twice. Mirror pockets mark the front, so you drape front-to-rear, settle the hems, and clip the straps. Removal is the reverse, and it folds into the included storage bag.

Shake off standing water and let it air-dry before bagging it for long-term storage. Short-term trunk storage while damp is fine — the breathable fabric dries quickly — but don't seal it away soaked for weeks.
