"Just got this today for 2017 Elantra and was pleasantly surprised on how well it fits, actually fits perfectly. No gaps anywhere, complete coverage. Have to say as far as fit and quality of the materials, perfect. Super easy to put in, they velcro around the rear view mirror…"

This is such a cool gadget! It is a very good quality and a great value for the money. Admittedly, I did not order the one spcific to my car but the size is close enough and it does its job nicely with keeping the car cooled down by keeping the sun out. I love that it folds up…
This is the easiest to use windshield sun screen that I've ever used. My wife hates the ones that you have to twist to store and that prevents her from using them. I decided to try this umbrella style one to see if it would be a better option. The first thing that surprised us…

FAQ · 2017-2025 Ford F-250-specific
- Q: What if the trim package changed mid-year?
- Mid-year trim changes don't affect the windshield aperture. The pattern fits all production from the listed start year through the listed end year, regardless of mid-year trim updates.
Will it fit my Touring trim?
Yes. The windshield aperture across all listed trims of the 2017-2025 Ford F-250 is identical — we laser-scanned a real production unit. The pattern fits Touring, base, and top trims to within 0.1mm tolerance.
Can I get a kit with side-window shades too?
Yes. Most 2017-2025 Ford F-250 years have a matching side-window set in our catalog — bundle and save 15%. Filter by your year on the collection page.
$15 more buys you three things.
Speed of deploy
Generic shades roll, fold, or fight a foam core. Ours pops open in three seconds — once. No two-handed wrestle. Important when it's 110°F outside.
Custom-cut to your vehicle
Laser-scanned from a real production car. Pattern is mapped around the rain sensor and forward camera — Amazon shades sit on top of the camera and bunch.
Verified thermal drop
90-minute soak, 110°F ambient, real cabin. Without shade: 161°F dashboard. With Proadsy: 102°F. Tested at our California lab and field-validated in Death Valley.
Three seconds vs half a minute.

The questions before you buy.
Will this fit all model years the same way?
Yes. The windshield aperture has not meaningfully changed across years in the listed range. Our laser-scan-based pattern fits identically.
Does it clear the rain sensor and forward camera?
Yes. The pattern dips around the rain sensor (driver-side, top of glass) and the forward camera housing (centered). The cutout matches OEM glass cutout to within 0.1mm.
What size does it fold to? Will it fit the door pocket?
12.6" folded diameter (~32cm). Fits the front-door map pocket and the rear seat-back pocket. Includes a soft TPU sleeve to keep it clean.
Does it work with the auto-dimming mirror?
Yes. The umbrella's TPU handle clips over the mirror stem, not the mirror itself. The auto-dim sensor remains uncovered.
What's the difference between umbrella and foldable?
Same engineered layers and same exact pattern. The umbrella deploys faster (3s vs 10s) and self-tensions; the foldable packs slightly flatter for tight storage. Both are equally effective at thermal blocking.
What if it doesn't fit?
Send it back. We pay the shipping label. No restocking fee. Return rate sits below 0.6%, and every return was due to a year-selection error at checkout (which we re-shipped, free).
